Marine Academy
Maritime education, practical learning, a museum and visits within a proposed submarine-shaped architectural concept.

- Proposed Dubai maritime cluster

Purpose
Create an accessible place for maritime knowledge, linking design and engineering education to the proposed shipbuilding and repair environment.
An architecture drawn from the sea
The academy is conceived as a building with the silhouette of a submarine. This form makes the maritime subject visible in the architecture itself. It is a building concept rather than a claim that an operational submarine has been converted into a campus.
Learning and practical exposure
The educational direction brings together maritime design, engineering, shipbuilding and repair knowledge. The relationship with the proposed cluster is intended to connect classroom understanding with real technical questions and supervised practical exposure.
The programme structure, teaching partners, facilities, training permissions and any qualification pathway must be established before recruitment or a formal course offer.
Museum and visits
A museum and organised visits are part of the public-learning vision. They can introduce vessels, marine technologies and the history of maritime engineering to families, students and professional visitors through an agreed exhibition and access programme.
The MAXIMUS role
MAXIMUS develops the institutional and educational proposition and coordinates the relationship between architecture, learning and industry. An academic operator, curriculum approvals and professional qualifications require separate arrangements.
Cooperation
Maritime educators, naval architects, museum specialists, training providers and industrial mentors can help develop the learning programme, visitor experience and practical training model.
