MAXIMUS Aviation
Light-aircraft development, engineering and cooperation around aircraft completion and a possible production transfer.
- Stage
- Development and cooperation preparation
- Geography
- International engineering cooperation with a UAE development focus
Purpose
Build a documented development pathway for light aircraft, connecting the aircraft design, completion requirements and the conditions for an appropriate production location.
Engineering and aircraft completion
The light-aircraft workstream concerns the relationship between a defined airframe, its systems, the remaining completion work and the evidence needed to assess readiness for the next development stage. Completion is a technical scope that must be established aircraft by aircraft.
Production development and transfer
A possible production transfer requires a verified design and rights package, tooling and process requirements, supplier capability, quality controls, workforce planning and a jurisdiction-specific approval route. The initiative can prepare this industrial case without representing a factory as operational.
A defined cooperation brief
A useful proposal identifies the aircraft or subsystem, present development stage, rights available for discussion, engineering contribution sought and the decision needed next. Financing, ownership, manufacturing and operation are documented separately.
The MAXIMUS role
MAXIMUS develops the cooperation proposition and coordinates the definition of engineering, rights and industrial requirements. Design approval, manufacturing, inspection, certification and operation require the appropriate authorised parties.
Cooperation
Aircraft designers, airframe and systems engineers, production specialists, completion teams and qualified aviation organisations can contribute against an agreed project scope and documented rights.
Discuss this initiativeWhat the next stage needs
- Current design, configuration and completion assessment
- Documented design, tooling and manufacturing rights
- Identified technical organisations and the applicable aviation approvals
